Birmingham/West Midlands based queer graphic artist & designer, with ambitions of taking their 5+ years design industry experience further into the world of TV, film and animation.
As a TV/film fanatic with a love for scripted TV shows, epic fantasy thrillers, animations and period-based dramas – they are actively pursuing opportunities to work on projects in their respective art departments – taking all their refined skills developed from experience as a commercial graphic designer, brand specialist and illustrator.
April – May 2023, they began working within the art department for Late Night Lycett [series 2]. Through this opportunity they were able to produce a series worth of graphic props as well as assist the art directors with set dressing and designing large-scale props with the production designer.
At this stage in Ellis’ career, they have blossomed into a confident designer with a set of interpersonal skills from creative problem solving to being serious about staying organised, preparing themself to journey into the screen industries!
